We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup and operation of stamping presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the blanking process from raw material to finished product.
• Operate and setup of coin blanking presses to produce high-quality products.
• Perform and document quality control inspections to meet customer specifications.
• Monitor and maintain press speeds to meet production goals.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the blanking and coining process to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with maintenance to perform preventive maintenance & troubleshoot any issues that arise throughout the process. This will include monitoring levels and replenishment of tooling lubricants, and soaps at wash stations.
• Accurately maintain and enter daily production data into inventory software (Acumatica).
• Maintain department workstations and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Meet or exceed company quality goals to minimize scrap and ensure proper application of First In / First Out (FIFO) Inventory methods for production.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Position requires the use of PPE, including steel-toed footwear.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with stamping set up and press operation, ideally 5+ years.
• Strong Mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
